Carbis Cabs Meet and Greet
Carbis Cabs like to meet and greet all of our customers either on the train platform, at Bodmin Parkway
or in the airport arrivals lounge.
We carry a digital name board so that
we can be spotted easily.
We also take cards from all the major providers including
Apple, Android and Google pay.
Card Payments can only be accepted in person and not over the phone.
NVQ Qualified and enhanced D.B.S. checked.

Shopping
Need help with your shopping? I am always happy to help with the loading and unloading of your
shopping and carrying it into your house if you struggle to do so.
Suitcases
I will also help you with your suitcases, especially at Bodmin Parkway as the only access to the eastbound platform is over a bridge. Please don't be scared to ask as I am happy to help.
Personal Service
As a small independent company we like to think our customers get a
more personal service than the larger companies.
This is because generally you will have the same driver for your multiple trips.
This also means that I (Phil) the owner of Carbis Cabs will normally be your driver.
As the owner i have more of a vested interest in the service i provide because after all you, my customers are my livelihood so i need to make sure that the service i provide is the best i can possibly offer.

Delayed Train
Recently a train was delayed by over an hour but i still made sure that the customer was collected when the train arrived and any other bookings that now clashed were also covered by one of the other small taxi companies that i work along side.
Work Together
The fact that i work together with other small taxi firms in the town
is great because we help each other out.
So i get bookings from them and vice versa of course.
This is so much better than just trying to compete and work against each other.
Allow Enough Time
Please always allow enough time for your transfer to the train station or Airport as you never know what can happen enroute.
Don't rely on Google maps for travel times, although google maps is very good please remember who has the local knowledge and experience.
As an example we like to allow an hour from these following destinations, Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, New Polzeath Port Isaac to Bodmin Parkway.
It is always better to be safe than sorry, a 20 minute wait at the station is better than missing your train.
